Housing At Lincoln Street Perinatal

Bakersfield Recovery Services Inc. Offers treatment for women in various stages of pregnancy at our Lincoln Street Perinatal facility. Clients are housed in an apartment building which has four, three bedroom units and a central kitchen. Lincoln Street Perinatal is able to accommodate 16 clients in various stages of pregnancy and their newborns. 



Treatment At Lincoln Street Perinatal

Their is also a classroom where clients are required to attend classes from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Lincoln Street Perinatal is a 12-Step social model program that explores all 12 steps In the Alcoholics Anonymous self help program with special emphasis on the first four steps. Clients at Lincoln Street are required to attend daily meetings, they must also find a twelve-step sponsor and build a strong support group. Lincoln Street Perinatal has two full time CAADAC trained counselors which provide education and training in areas such as:

  Our goal is to help the client to adjust and prepare to move back into society armed with the tools and the skills to live as a productive member of society free from drugs and alcohol. The Clients at Lincoln Street Perinatal are provided with a safe and loving environment for themselves and their newborn infants while counselors teach the new moms the skills needed to nurture and provide for their families.

  While staying at Lincoln Street Perinatal our clients learn to cook, clean, perform household skills such as budgeting along with bathing, feeding and mothering of their child. While at Lincoln Street Perinatal They Will also attend special education classes on how to provide services for their families and how to become a working member of society.



Visiting At Lincoln Street Perinatal

Clients are allowed weekly visits, and just like Jason's Retreat and Capistrano Community For Women Clients can invite their family, friends, and sponsor to participate in Family Night.
