Housing At Jason's Retreat

Jason's Retreat Is a residential substance abuse treatment facility for men. Our two story "Big House" is able to accommodate up to 30 men. We have a recreation room, large dining room and community kitchen. We also lease single family homes Near Jason's Retreat  for sober living. Our classrooms and counseling offices are centrally located. We have a professional staff which provide support services which include transportation to all appointments which include Medical, Parole, Probation, outside counseling, schools and child visits. We also take our clients to outside NA and AA meetings as well as recreational activities which include trips to amusement parks, trips to the beach, Theater and festivals.as well sports events.



Treatment At Jason's Reteat
Our clients at Jason's Retreat live in a safe environment free from drugs and alcohol and the stress's of everyday life. That's not to say however that they don't have any responsibilities. At Jason's Retreat our clients are required to attend class 4 days out of the week from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Classes include:

  • Healthy Relationships,
  • Parenting,
  • 12 Step Study,
  • 12 step presentation,
  • Process Groups
  • Relapse Prevention
  • Anger Management
  • Life Skills Training
  • Self Esteem
  • Alcohol & Drug Education
  • Communication Skills

Our Clients Are each assigned chores and participate in fundraisers to raise money for their recreational activities. We also provide our clients with the opportunity to do volunteer work for local charities. 



At Jason's Retreat all of our programs are 12-Step based, social model programs that emphasize accountability and individual responsibility. Clients study the 12-Step program pioneered by Alcoholics Anonymous and now used by Narcotics Anonymous and other groups, with special emphasis on the first four steps. Clients attend daily meetings, find 12-Step sponsors and build strong 12-Step support groups. Jason’s Retreat has a staff of four full time CAADAC trained counselors for our residential program, and others who work with clients in our Intensive Outpatient program located at 504 Bernard St. At Jason's Retreat outpatient staff offer groups and classes that focus on alcohol/drug addiction education, anger management, life style changes, medical, legal and financial obligations, self-esteem, relapse prevention, job preparedness, completing education requirements, refreshing job skills, reestablishing primary relationships, building family relationships, coping with child care issues (parenting) communication skills, setting boundaries, and related subjects,. Clients are subject to random drug screening tests and daily alcohol test taken on site with alcohol screen sensor.



Visitation & Family Night At Jason's Retreat

Clients may receive visits from spouses, children, family members and close friends on two occasions each week. On Friday night, residential clients and their families participate in Family Night from 5:30 p.m... Family Night is intended to acquaint family members with recovery principles to facilitate better understanding. On Saturdays families permitted visits anytime from 12:00 p.m. to 4p.m... (Subject to hours change) Treatment stays very depending on funding sources from 45 days to 120 days. It is a busy time, with classes 4 times daily on weekdays. Clients also attend 12-step meetings almost daily with their fellow clients. During the first 10 days, clients are restricted from having outside contacts or distractions. After that time clients have phone privileges between 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and may leave the facility with an escort for appointments on Fridays, with permission of their primary counselor. Clients staying over 45 days may earn passes starting with a 6-hour pass on the weekend and earning 30-hour passes. Depending on funding, some clients move into Sober-Living housing and outpatient treatment. Others remain in residential housing and engage in job search when appropriate.

We focus strongly on family and family values. We set our standards higher than similar programs at a fraction of the cost.We offer help for individuals who seek change!
